open book exams are designed to mock
Had my last day of classes yesterday. Had a McChicken to celebrate. Yes, my life is sad. We have 10 days before the first exam. How much can you study and still feel like you don't know what's going on? It was pouring rain this morning, but now it's just crappy and gloomy. Still don't know what I'm going to do for the summer. I'm trying to not let that worry me during exams, but I can multitask at stressing myself out.

I WISH WE HAD 10 DAYS! Had last day of classes today and first exam on Monday - Property...ugh.
I totally know how you feel. You can read every case, brief them all, even discuss in lecture and then be like WTF when it comes time to prep for the exam. I just want these next 12 days to be done with. There is a light at the end of the tunnel.

I like Property 'cuz I like my prof, but I still have no idea about easements/covenants. Why not just stick with 'No Trespassing'? Plus our prof is hellbent on putting in an essay on the Aboriginal conception of property, to punish those who didn't attend the special lectures which coincide with our memo assignment. (sigh) It's not going to be pretty. Especially since the rumour is that no one ever finishes the Property final.
Property is a bitch for me because my prof speaks in the language used in the cases from 1600. ITS INSANE - luckly, people in Alberta dont care about Aboriginals so we spent next to no time on it except what Sparrow and the other case said, and the exam isnt cumulative from last semester. Covenants is a bitch too, and I agree on that. I wouldnt worry about not finishing - same deal with us. I think they are looking for detailed analysis and seeing what you know, and what you get but didnt finish will flow from that. BUT thank god for the grading scheme...there has to be people less dumb than I am.
I can taste the freedom already and I think my brain is going on vacation before the exams start - not a good thing. Ah well...whateve. Congrats on the job.
